Estimada Comunidad Bolívar:

Como les informamos recientemente, PowerSchool, nuestro proveedor de software académico para el registro de la asistencia y calificaciones de los estudiantes, notificó el martes 7 de enero de 2025 a nuestro Departamento de Sistemas sobre un incidente de ciberseguridad del cual fueron víctimas.

Dando seguimiento a este tema, queremos informarles que hemos identificado que se están enviando correos electrónicos a nombre de PowerSchool, en los que les solicitan a las personas ingresar a diferentes enlaces web.

Aunque la compañía ha informado que estos correos no son Phishing, desde el colegio Bolivar les recomendamos hacer caso omiso a dichos mensajes y eliminarlos, pues la información a la que se refieren solo es válida para los usuarios en Estados Unidos y ha sido enviada por error a usuarios de otras regiones (puede leer el comunicado emitido por parte de Powerschool en este enlace).

Le agradecemos a los padres que nos han reportado este correo enviado a nombre de Powerschool y, como medida de precaución adicional, les recomendamos reportar cualquier correo sospechoso que involucre al colegio Bolívar a nuestro departamento de Sistemas, a los correos:

Dear Bolívar Community,

As we recently informed you, PowerSchool, our academic software provider for recording student attendance and grades, notified our Systems Department on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, about a cybersecurity incident of which they were victims.

Following up on this issue, we want to inform you that we have identified that emails are being sent in the name of PowerSchool, in which people are asked to enter different web links.

Although the company has reported that these emails are not Phishing, from Bolivar School we recommend that you ignore these messages and delete them, since the information referred is only valid for users in the United States and has been mistakenly sent to users in other regions (you can read the statement issued by Powerschool at this link).

We thank the parents who have reported this email sent on behalf of Powerschool and as an additional precautionary measure, we recommend that you report any suspicious email involving Colegio Bolívar to our Systems department, at the following emails:
