Blackstone Heritage Corridor is pleased to announce a $26,000 grant from the Massachusetts Environmental Trust (MET), which will support the launch of the Blackstone River Watershed Warrior Junior Ranger Program. This new self-guided youth education initiative will teach children and families about watershed health, stormwater, wildlife habitats, and environmental stewardship through hands-on, place-based activities across the Blackstone River watershed. As we begin work on refreshing all of the Corridor signage installed over the last 30+ years, we are looking for a Project Manager to assist us with this endeavor. This position is an independent contract role who will catalogue the current inventory of signs, reimagine and update the signage system to reflect current historical and cultural narratives, and work with community partners to create a cohesive resource throughout the Blackstone Valley.
