Trail Ambassadors Announce Spring Hiking Series Begining March 8!


Volunteer Trail Ambassadors with the Blackstone Heritage Corridor have planned a spring hiking series. Volunteer Phil Johanson offers hikes in the Massachusetts portion of the National Heritage Corridor, and Ernie Germani covers the Rhode Island portion. Massachusetts hikes are at 10 a.m., and Rhode Island hikes are at 9 a.m.

Join Ranger Allison Horrocks from Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park and Blackstone Heritage Corridor volunteer Mark Dennen as they share the history of the Elder Ballou Cemetery and the story behind the Cumberlandite Site. Mark is also a geologist with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.

Superb Owl Bird Walk
