Save the date of Wednesday, December 3, for our Champions of the Blackstone Awards. It will be held at Alternatives' Whitin Mill in the G.B. & Lexi Singh Performance Center in Whitinsville.
These awards highlight the great work that has been done in the Blackstone River Valley.

These tasks included building bird nests, homes for bees, habitat building and litter cleanup. Park staff offer specialty tours at varying locations across the Blackstone River Watershed through August. These programs begin at 6:30 PM and are 60-minutes long.

Join us for a bird walk along the beautiful Blackstone River and Canal. Park staff will lead hour-long walking tours at the Blackstone River State Park on Fridays and Sundays (through August 1) at 10:00 AM. These birding programs are meant for birders of all ages and skill levels. Field guides, binoculars, and Junior Birder books will be available. Learn to fish with us this summer! Join park staff Sunday afternoons through July for some FREE family fun. Catch some fish, learn about the river, and earn a Junior Angler badge. All fishing material and bait are provided. Activities available from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Participants will learn about the value of wartime pensions and hear service stories about patriots from the Blackstone Valley. Then, rangers will offer a training on how to transcribe records online for this project. Please bring a laptop computer for the session.
