Blackstone Fish Passage Parade

BHC was proud to participate in the 3rd Annual Blackstone Fish Passage Parade last month—a joyful and meaningful event that brought the community together to celebrate and advocate for the return of migratory fish to the Blackstone River. Kayaking alongside our partners, including the Blackstone Watershed Collaborative, Narragansett Indian Tribe, Hassanamisco Band of Nipmuc, and others, awareness was raised about fish passage restoration and deepening connections to this vital waterway. Events like this are a powerful reminder of the importance of environmental stewardship and collective action. Learn more about fish passage here: blackstonecollaborative.org/fishpassage.
