Dear Creative Friends,
I've been doing a little creative collaboration these past few months which has been so much fun, and a wonderful growing experience for me. As a way to preserve the wisdom of Lauren Artress, labyrinth pioneer, and to honor her 80th birthday, I persuaded Lauren to work with me to create a deck of labyrinth cards. They have brought a whole new depth to my labyrinth work, and I've heard from many people that they have sparked inspiration and fresh ways to experience the labyrinth. So if you have labyrinth people in your life, this might be a perfect gift.
"The Wisdom of the Labyrinth: Guidance for Walking the Path of Life" cards are available right now at the Veriditas Store. Veriditas is a non-profit with the mission of inspiring personal and planetary change and renewal through the labyrinth experience. They do this by training and supporting labyrinth facilitators around the world, and offering meaningful events that promote further understanding of the labyrinth as a tool for personal and community transformation.
There are ten cards in each of the four suits in the card deck, and they make wonderful prompts for not only your labyrinth practice, but also your spiritual practice. The four suits of the cards are Reflection, Becoming, Embodiment and Alchemy. You can get a taste of the deck by reading two of the cards which I've included at the end of this email.

ART IN THE HIMALAYAS: SEEING THROUGH THE LENS OF YOUR SENSES AND YOUR SOUL

DISCOVER JAPAN: A TEXTILE, CRAFT AND SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

I worked with Aahilya Holidays to create an itinerary for this trip that offers opportunities to explore the country of Japan while interacting with Japanese craftspeople and having hands-on creative experiences.
Our itinerary includes Tokyo, Kamakura, Fuji, Nagano, Kanazawa, and Kyoto.

USING THE WISDOM OF THE LABYRINTH CARDS WITH SOULCOLLAGE®

If you are a member of World of SoulCollage® please look out for an email invitation to visit the Labyrinth Village at WOSC scheduled to be sent out on December 15th. I prepared a 13 minute video as a gift for Labyrinth Village members.
In the video I introduce ways to use The Wisdom of the Labyrinth deck of cards as contemplative prompts and sources of inspiration when making your SoulCollage® cards. The soul-centered themes—and the labyrinth’s spiraling pathway to the center—are a great way to support your intuitive process and enrich your creative flow.

- a beautiful phrase my dear friend Fia of Flying Edna uses when she ends her letters to me. Fia and her husband Brian Andreas are wonderful artists with a small studio on Cape Cod. I love giving gifts from their studio. I especially love their story blocks and have them liberally scattered around my library for those moments when I need to remember who I am.
May you find time these holidays to remember that you are - in the words of Hildegard of Bingen - "a glittering, glistening mirror of divinity".
