Cost of Living Salary Adjustments
This April, eligible Georgia Tech employees will begin receiving a $5,000 cost of living adjustment recently approved by Governor Brian Kemp and state legislators.
Cost-Cutting Campus Commute Options
Georgia Tech remains focused on the well-being of students, faculty, and staff — especially during stressful times when many are feeling the substantial impact of rising gas prices. Staff Council and multiple campus units are collaborating to identify and implement measures that can ease the cost of traveling to campus.
Campus Climate Survey
Institute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Office of Academic Effectiveness invites students, faculty, and staff to participate in the Campus Climate Survey, which is designed to gauge the Institute’s progress on building an inclusive community where everyone feels respected and valued.
Sting Break Seeks Staff Volunteers
The Student Center Programs Council’s annual student appreciation carnival known as Sting Break is coming to campus March 31. Faculty and staff are invited to help support a beloved tradition and connect with Georgia Tech students outside the classroom.
Extension of Self Exhibit Artist Call
Do you work in the field of art-sci-tech-accessibility? If so, consider applying to be a part of a campus exhibit (sponsored by Georgia Tech's Center for 21st Century Universities) showcasing artists with disabilities, artists working in accessibility, and work that includes assistive technologies.
Living Our Values Every Day (L.O.V.E. GT) seeks to help the Georgia Tech community bring the Institute’s values to life in our everyday work. Over the past year, the initiative has made important progress. You are invited to help continue the work by registering for monthly Leading Congruently workshops.
The Resilience Employee Resource Group will host Realities of Resilience: An Authentic Leadership Discussion on March 29. Listen as Georgia Tech leaders share how adversity, change, and uncertainty has contributed to their personal and professional growth.
Campus Covid-19 Updates
All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in weekly testing for Covid-19. Several testing locations on campus provide fast, free asymptomatic testing.
Covid-19 vaccines remain available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff, as well as their family members ages 12 and older.

The Staff Council exists to:

Engage​: Build a collaborative environment where staff can develop, grow, and participate in the Tech community.​

Advocate​: Be the voice of the staff by bridging the gap between executive leadership and staff.​

Inform​: Become the avenue by which staff receive information concerning Institute priorities and initiatives.
