Ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Praying Pelican Missions, networking with local churches around the world, and connecting mission teams to life-changing ministry opportunities.
Costa Rica Report
About 80 pastors & spouses gathered in Tilaran, Costa Rica to be built up, encouraged, and assisted to help reach and serve their communities for Jesus Christ.

As always, it's an honor to be part of an event like this. So much work into putting this event together, but the best part about it was that Nate really had nothing to do with it! Our full-time Costa Rica staff and our amazing PPM-CR board members did the majority of the preparations!

Nate's part was to share about PPM Global and cast vision for these pastors to take their members on a mission trip either to another part of Costa Rica or to another nearby country. This was the first time that the concept of PPM Global had been introduced face-to-face.

Earlier in the year, Costa Rica sent their first team consisting of a pastora along with the girls from their youth group to go serve another church a few hours away. Nate (and the entire conference attendees) were able to hear a testimony from this trip. Pastora Xiomara, pictured above in the teal shirt standing next to Nate, told how deeply her youth group girls were impacted by serving at another church. Within a few weeks of the girls returning home, they were implementing the ministries that they were exposed to on their trip! These teenage girls are full of passion to serve in their community!

For Nate's presentation, he used a ball or yard and passed it to Pastora Xiomara. She, in turn, held on to the yarn and threw the ball of yarn to Pastora Yessenia who previously received the team. From there the pastors continued to pass the ball of yarn, showing how PPM Global exists to connect the local church all over Costa Rica! We are praying that from this conference many more would say yes to taking their church on a mission church to go serve!
Prepping for Kenya
Kenya continues to be a priority for Nate as he prepares to travel in January. Opening up PPM Kenya is a large undertaking, seeing that we are not opening it in the normal fashion of having a USA team go to serve there. Instead, we want to see the local churches in Kenya rise up to serve each other!

We currently have raised $8,500 towards the goal of $10,000 to begin opening up PPM Kenya. If you are able, we would love for you to join in the launch of PPM GLOBAL AFRICA by giving a one-time or monthly gift through the Global Access Fund. And as always, we covet your prayers over all of the PPM Global planning that is taking place.
November Pictures!
November has been a fun month! We continued to explore nearby towns, it seems like there is something going on somewhere nearly every weekend around here. A few weeks ago we went to a "Chocolate & Cheese" festival in Foley and spent time walking around the town.

Laura and the boys attended a "Christmas Tree Lighting" in Fairhope while Nate was in Costa Rica. They had a magical time listening to live Christmas music as "snow" fell in 70-degree weather!

We also checked out a battleship that is docked in nearby Mobile and open to the public. Malachi has been wanting to go there ever since we moved here, so he was super excited that we went. It was pretty neat to see.

Nathan's parents drove down from Michigan to spend Thanksgiving week with us, it's always good to be with family since we rarely see them. We truly have so much to be thankful for and are in awe of God's blessings in our lives.

We celebrated Malachi's 13th birthday on November 28th, we can't believe he is a teenager now! We can't keep up with how tall he is getting, or his shoe size! He continues to keep us on our toes (and on our knees in prayer!) as he navigates these adolescent years. He is passionate about all things football, so he is currently living his best life as it is football season. Please keep us all in prayer as we seek to continue to point him to Jesus!

As we enter into this season of Advent, our spirits are full of expectancy. This is the season of celebrating the Hope that came into the world so long ago. We are so thankful for each of you and pray that this season of hope draws you closer to the One whom we celebrate this season.
