Hey everyone...so here is today's update...well, I will start with what happened last night...

At last nights debrief, we had a lot of spiritual breakthrough as a group...many tears were shed as many of the students found what they were looking for going into this trip, and we even had a re-commitment to Christ.

Now to today...it was fabulous! It started with a great breakfast followed by shopping! Yeah! We then drove an hour and a half to go white water rafting. Sounds boring, but I made sure to sing the entire ride and serenade everyone with my beautiful voice.

White water rafting was amazing! We all had so much fun. Only a couple of us fell in, including yours truly...so you could say it was a pretty successful day. The ride home was equally as entertaining with my singing.

Tonight, was a very happy night. We got to present Pablo, the pastor of the church we've been helping at, with gifts that you guys at home helped to pay for by supporting us. We bought the church new chairs, a 50 ft VGA cable, groceries, and provided him with money for other necessities. On top of that, we also helped out our amazing friend and Costa Rican leader, Tito, by providing him with enough money to put a down payment on an apartment and two months rent. Tito really showed us so much love this week and he is at the moment homeless and out of work. Pablo and Tito are amazing people and we are honored to call them are friends and help them.  So, thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to bless them.

Many of us have "lost our passports" and will have to remain here. (not really...although we wish because we LOVE it here) We will be leaving the base tomorrow at 4 am and will be home later tomorrow evening. It is bittersweet, but we can't wait to be reunited with our families, share the stories, and take what we have been challenged to change in our lives and put it in to practice.

Hasta luego!
