LASC's Holiday Adopt-A-Family Effort Doubles Goal
LASC's Adopt-A-Family Campaign raised more than $5,000 in late November and December and as a result the college was able to support 200 children in LASC's student's families during the holiday season. Each student parent was emailed a $25 Amazon gift card for every child in their household. The final total doubled the original goal of raising $2,500.

State Update: Community College League of California Look For Suitable Budgeting
Ahead of the January 2021-22 Budget Proposal, the Community College League of California crafted a letter detailing its thoughts and feedback on how the budget pertains to California Community Colleges to Governor Gavin Newsom, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, and Senate President Pro Tem Toni Atkins.
