LASC To Host L.A. Fire Vaccine Distribution On Its Campus
The Los Angeles Fire Department will have a COVID-19 vaccination distribution site on Los Angeles Southwest College's (LASC) campus in Parking Structure 8 starting April 5-6 for eligible tiers. The vaccination site will operate up to six days a week. Participants will need to enter and exit campus via the Denker Avenue gate.

Free Wi-Fi Offered On Campus To LASC Students
To provide students with reliable, high-speed internet access — and in keeping with social-distancing directives issued by county, state, and national officials — LASC has launched “Drive-Up Wi-Fi." Students are welcome to drive to LASC, park in the parking lot and get free Wi-Fi!

LASC's 2021 Summer Session Schedule of Classes has been released. Take a look at all of the opportunities in our schedule. Summer Session I is from June 14-July 18 and Summer Session II is from July 19-August 22. All classes will be taught remotely.
Child Development Department To Have Info Session On Its Support Initiative
LASC's Child Development Department will have an information session on its Student Success & Support Initiative from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. April 1. CDSSSI is designed to offer Child Development students resources, support, counseling, university transfer preparedness, career exploration, and professional development.
Date Set For LASC's Annual "Say The Word"
LASC's English and Foreign Languages Department will host its semi-annual "Say The Word" open mic competition for rap, poetry and art at 11 a.m. April 28 on Zoom. The event is open to all students, staff, faculty, and guests. Everyone is welcome to attend and/or perform. This is a free, fun event.
