Dear Families,

Thank you for your support as we managed the recent non-credible threat of violence on Friday. Please know we take all threats seriously and implement the necessary steps to ensure the safety of our school community.

We understand that incidents like this can cause anxiety and concern for students, parents, and families, so thank you for your patience and trust as we work with our law enforcement partners to secure our campus. Continue to say something if you see something and report anything suspicious directly to Fountain Valley or Huntington Beach Police departments.

The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we will continue to take all necessary steps to ensure their well-being. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Thank you for an amazing Staff Appreciation Week! Our teachers and staff are so blessed by your acts of kindness and thoughtfulness! We are so grateful to be a part of such an amazing school community!

Fifth graders start state testing this week. Please remember to get a good night's rest, eat a nutritious breakfast, and arrive to school on time.

Does your child have a talent they'd like to share at our talent show? Please see below for details. Auditions will be May 11 after school in the MPR.

Sincerely,

Lisa Tanita
Principal
We are excited to share our upcoming Spring Sing. Grades TK - 2nd will be performing on May 11th and 3rd - 5th Grade will be performing on May 18th. Please join us in the lunch bowl. Program begins at 11:45 and the bowl will be open at 11:35 am.
We are gearing up for the fall and for student placement for 2023-2024. Each year, our staff diligently works to balance classes for the upcoming school year. As professional educators, we carefully consider many variables in the development of class lists. These decisions are made very thoughtfully by considering the best learning situation for all of our students. It is our goal to create balanced classroom environments that allow teachers to meet academic, social, and emotional needs of each student.

If you would like to share information about your child for us to consider please go to the office to complete a Student Information card by May 10, 2023.

Class lists will be available at Registration Day at the end of August 2023.
