Sometimes it takes a special week like Teacher Appreciation Week to stop and celebrate the importance of the people we may often take for granted. In particular, over these last two pandemic years, our dedicated Calverton teachers have responded extraordinarily to our students by providing a safe and welcoming learning environment.

We are grateful to all our caring teachers and to the administrators and staff who support our teaching and learning mission. Each one is a role model, a community builder, an advocate, and a mentor. Their exceptional efforts go above and beyond, empowering every student to meet their unique potential. We also share a special thank you to our Calverton Parent Association for showering us with well-deserved support throughout this week.

We have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of messages in honor of our teachers and staff over the last week. To those who have taken the time to be involved, thank you! It’s not too late to participate in Teacher Appreciation Week by making a gift to the Calverton Fund in honor of our teachers to let them know the profound difference they make in the lives of every student at Calverton.
