KASD ANNUALLY PUBLISHED POLICIES
Please refer to our website's "Need to Know" page for relevant policies published annually for the Kutztown Area School District community.
YOUNG CHILDREN LOVE RECEIVING THEIR FREE NEW BOOKS THROUGH KASD IMAGINATION LIBRARY
Young children under age 5 in the Kutztown Area School District love receiving their free new book every month through the Imagination Library book gifting program. Participating children get a new book every month in the mail! Children and families are grateful to be part of the program and thank the Education Foundation for making this possible. Children of all ages 0-5 enjoy reading and looking at the books. This would not be possible without the appreciated support from the Education Foundation.

Generously funded and supported by the Kutztown Area School District Education Foundation, participation in this program provides children ages 0-5 one new book each month mailed to their residence in the Kutztown Area School District, at absolutely no cost to families.

To register your child to receive this free gift of literacy, simply go to www.imaginationlibrary.com, scroll down and click on the link that says “Can I Register My Child?” or click on the Sign-up button below. If you have any questions about registration or the program, please contact Mrs. Rikki DeVough at rdevough@kasd.org.

In appreciation of the KASD Education Foundation's funding of the Kutztown Area School District Imagination Library, we are seeking pictures and messages of gratitude to share with the community. If you are willing to share a picture or short (1-minute) video, please send a picture or clip of either reading to your child(ren) and/or thanking the Education Foundation for their generosity. Pictures and video clips can be sent to Rikki DeVough at rdevough@kasd.org.

The Boys' Basketball and Cheer teams thanked all the teachers and staff members at their Teacher Appreciation game on Thursday, January 18th, 2024. Each of the seniors from the Boys' Basketball and Cheer teams selected an influential educator or staff member to join them on the court. The teams celebrated and expressed their deepest appreciation for the educators who have shaped the student athlete lives both on and off the court.

All educators and staff members (KASD and non KASD) were recognized in the stands before the varsity game. Thank you to all our teachers and staff (present and retired) for all you do for our students!  Your influence extends far beyond the classroom, shaping the leaders and the future one student at a time.
