Grand Knight’s Report
Worthy Brother Knights,

Here we go.

After my wife passed away I joined an organization called the National Widowers Organization.

They send out monthly E mail newsletter. Recently they excerpted a book by Herb Knoll.

Herb is a Chancellor of a KOC Council and summed up a lot of the reasons I became a Knight.

Purpose enhances a man’s life.

Purpose provides men the means to see value in their existence. That’s why men become fixers. If you give a man a problem, he’ll apply a fix to it.

Men have a bias for action.
If there is a need or problem to be fixed we will get on it.
The SJN Parish and surrounding community needs our help and leadership. I am grateful to have been allowed to join with men such as you in that effort.

Thank you for electing the board and putting your trust in us. GK Mark Davis has lead us through the Neumann Center renovation and other equipment needs to prepare this council for a great future.

Please make an effort to join with your Brothers at the Officers Meeting, Business Meeting, Weekly Lunches, social nights.

You are involved with an amazing group of men and I have been honored to get to know just a few from our large membership.

Please join with your Brothers and fulfill your purpose by taking action for God and his church.

Vivat Jesus,

Mike MacFarlane
