Volume 19 | February 2019
Grand Knight’s Report
Worthy Brother Knights,

Firstly, we are happy to welcome Father Sunny back - Father Sunny was truly missed! Father, the Knights prayed for you and your family as well as your safe return home.

Secondly, one event that is still being talked about and planning for an encore is the Burger Night Event! Our January's Burger Night rejuvenated our Dinner Events. Ken Fehner told us this event will be a big hit and it was! Thank you Ken and All the Knights that jumped in to help! The Burger Night event actually got us warmed up to the upcoming March 8th through April 12th Fish Fry Events. We truly need All Hands on Deck to help execute our council's Lenten Tradition; providing fish dinners to the congregation on Fridays during Lent.

We are averaging 41 Knights attending our Business Meeting and look forward to increasing the number to 50 as more Knights see the remodeled areas. We also improved the agenda that leads to our monthly events generating income to support Charities in our parish as well as the community.

Thirdly, there has been considerable amount of progress to the Neumann Center remodel. By the next Business Meeting we will see phase two almost completed. Thank you both Houston Feaster and Mike MacFarlane for your leadership and execution of this remodel project.
Next, we thank Mark Dallas, who has been busy setting up our First Degree Ceremonies and has pledged to help Andrew Dantzer with the Director of Membership duties. The third Monday of every month is the scheduled time for our First Degree ceremony and we encourage as many of you to come and welcome the New Knights. To date we have 5 new Knights and there are 2 more about to make their First Degree. We are closing in on our goal of 18 new Knights by the end of June. Last year we brought in 19 new Knights on a goal of 18.

Growing our council and maintaining an atmosphere of living our faith through Corporal Works of Mercy is gratifying and invigorating. Charity work supports our parish and community. Our Fraternity strengthens with each event and the comradery seems to help build the Unity aspect of our council.

We continue to see more of you attending the Knight's mass that Harvey James, our Chancellor organizes and the growing number praying the rosary before the Business meeting as well as on the 5th Sunday before the Knight's mass. Praying supplies the cement that's needed to keep our foundation strong.
Finally, we will share with you the numbers from our Fraternal Survey you submitted for the work at the next Business Meeting! You will be amazed at what has been accomplished!

May God continue to Bless you and Your Families,

Vivat Jesus,

Mark Davis
