Grand Knight's Report

Brother Knights,

November 2025 is over, but it was the “stuff of legends.” Let us look back. On Sunday, November 2nd, we held our Sunday Breakfast, and it benefited the Bereavement Ministry. It was another successful endeavor and thank you to all the Brother Knights who helped. Also, on November 2nd we exemplified 2 new Brother Knights in our Council, Richard Quinones and Dyson Francis. We are glad to have them as Brother Knights in Council 7923.

At our membership meeting on November 10th, we held our membership meeting. For the month of November there wasn’t any outstanding business that we had to attend to, therefore, it was a standard meeting. However, the pre-meeting events were very eventful. We had our annual Flag Retirement Ceremony with Scout Troop 522 which we have around Veterans Day. Normally only a handful of Scouts attend the ceremony but this time we had more Scouts attend and this time the Cub Scouts attended. Me and BK Jonathan Andrade had to go to Publix to buy more hot dog buns for the hot dogs and chili dogs that we served that evening. We had so many people attending that we even had to start the meeting a little later. Me and several other Brother Knights were delighted to see so many people attend the Flag Retirement Ceremony and the dinner afterwards. It was a fantastic event.

Looking ahead, our next breakfast will be on Sunday, December 7th and it will benefit the Fransalian Associates Ministry. It will be the only December event. Brother Knights please enjoy this Christmas season and spend time with family and friends. Merry Christmas Brother Knights and May God Bless you All!

That concludes my report.

Vivat Iesu,

GK Brian Jeffers

Lecturers Report

November Lecturers Report from BK David Werve

Today’s Meditation

"Voluntary poverty restores to man the nobility of his condition, liberating him from vile servitude and reinstating him his noble freedom and mastery of all things. The soul is never more a mistress than when she despises them, and only then has she the more firm possession and makes the more excellent use of riches, when she gives them away or leaves them of her own free will; only then her appetite for them is best satiated, when she does not care to possess them. Then above all is the heart set free and made capable of the treasures of the Divinity, for which it is furnished by the Creator with almost infinite capacity." —Ven. Mary of Agreda, p. 85
