Grand Knight’s Report
Worthy Brother Knights:

Thank you ALL for an extraordinary month of Charity work that United us, strengthened our Fraternity and continued our commitment to support our St. John Neumann parish community.

February was a busy month for our council! We added 5 New Knights; Michael Everett, Mark Giuliano, Gary Schmitt, Derek and Michael Smith. Diego Montoya complete his second degree. We had 4 Knights complete their 4th degree; Glen Klein, Terry McWhirt, Joe Odom and Woody. Harry Holmes was everywhere recruiting and nurturing - he is the Best Membership Director I've ever known.

Steve Drizik, chaired our Knight's efforts to help the Sisters at the Visitation Monastery this month. The Sisters are very grateful for all the Knight's work clearing out their basement and sent their appreciation to our council. Todd Eaton accepted the role as our council's Youth Director and has been busy with the Free Throw contest this month. Harvey planned another successful Knight's family mass in February and Ben McCormack has been on point capturing all the details of our business meeting activities. Michael McFarlane stepped up as our Outside Guard this month.
Frank and Mike have been extremely busy Chairing our very successful Fish Fries, that have an average of 55 Knights plus many wives working these events. I also want to acknowledge Jim McHugh with his diligence in collecting the annual dues, printing all the membership cards and is still in the process of finishing this enormous task. The Family Breakfast Chairman, Ted Asher along with his wife Karen have been awesome with the breakfast execution along with Hugh Gardiner, who we appreciate, will be expanding his role with the Family Breakfast moving forward into April. Tom Marasco, who not only keeps tabs on all the transactions and details plus works tirelessly managing our Charity Committee every week. Our Warden, Leon Urban works behind the scenes and is a busy Knight helping Mike Hayward around the parish fixing what is broken and spreads good will. Wow, I could go on and on about what you all accomplished this month. Thank you All!

Finally, It is amazing what can be done with your prayers - Tom Hamberger went through a scary time this month and the doctors are still scatching their heads as Tom recovered in two days which he thought he would be in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. Tom stated your prayers made the difference and today he is back to normal and is working! He will return to join us working the remaining fish fries in March.

Vivat Jesus,

Mark
