Market Street Center

City Council held a public hearing on a preliminary development plan for the Market Street Center proposed on the east side of Southwest Market Street, approximately 650 feet north of the intersection at 150 Highway. The undeveloped 5.03-acre property is within the boundaries of the M0-150 Corridor Development Overlay (CDO) District, which encourages the integration of water and energy conservation techniques in site planning and building design. The applicant, Foresight Real Estate Services, LLC, proposes the construction of three commercial buildings and 155 parking spaces on the site. The proposed use for the buildings located on Lots 1 and 2 are a dental office and retail. A home improvement center is proposed for Lot 3.

City Council gave initial approval to the preliminary development plan.

Streets of West Pryor

City Council held a public hearing on proposed changes to a previously approved preliminary development plan for Streets of West Pryor located at 900 Northwest Pryor Road. The applicant is proposing to subdivide an existing pad site (Lot 9) into three lots. The previously approved plan identified this lot as a single, multi-tenant building with restaurant uses totaling 7,000 sq. ft. The applicant has since identified a need to adjust this lot to allow for multiple buildings, increased square footage (9,930 square feet), and different commercial use, rather than restaurant only. Proposed tenants for Lots 9A and 9C are PNC Bank and Chase Bank. The proposed use for Lot 9B is medical/restaurant.

City Council gave initial approval to the proposed changes to the preliminary development plan.
