City Council gave initial approval to a preliminary development plan and rezoning application for the Chapel Ridge Business Park Multi-Family proposed at 721 NE Meadowview Drive. The applicant proposes to rezone 11.96 acres from CP-2 (Planned Community Commercial District) to Residential Category 3 (multi-family residential housing) to construct a 276 dwelling unit multi-family development. 

City Council gave initial approval to a preliminary development plan, rezoning application (planned community commercial to planned industrial) and 20-year special use permit for a three-lot industrial development composed of a storage facility, office/warehouse and indoor recreation facility proposed at the corner of Northeast Town Centre Blvd. and Northeast Town Centre Drive. With 21 buildings and 100,780 sq. ft. of building area on 7.98 acres, the Mega Storage facility is the largest component of the development with extra-large units suitable for boat, RV and contractor storage. Pad Site A is the site of D-BAT, a 20,130 sq. ft. indoor recreational facility for youth baseball and softball training (batting cages). Pad Site B is the site of a 9,000 sq. ft. office/warehouse building. 

City Council moved to second reading an ordinance providing for an election of municipal officers by voters in the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, at the General Election to be held on April 5, 2022, and providing that notice of said election be given.
