We'll be talking about some bridges, some rivers, and more! 
 
On the agenda for our March Board of Governors meeting is a discussion on the Hyperion Bridge retrofit Project, planning for the May 3rd LA River Cleanup, voting on whether to support the effort to save the Figueroa Bridge, discussion on the impacts of the River Improvement Overly Ordinance, and more. Meeting starts at 7pm, and will be at Christ's Church (Edenhurst and Gardenside).

Meet the Candidates!
The AVNC election is only a few weeks away, and there are 27 (up from 18 in 2012) candidates vying for seats on the board. Want to get to know your candidates better? Join us on March 26th at the Morrison (Los Feliz and Glenfeliz) at 7pm for a Candidate Meet and Greet. Light snacks will be provided. Candidates statements can be found by clicking here!
Glendale Blvd Cleanup!
Lots of folks have mentioned the growing issue with trash on Glendale Boulevard. Well, let's get out there and do something about it! The Community Greening Committee is hosting a Boulevard Cleanup event in partnership with Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell's office. All are encouraged to come out to pitch in. Meet at the old Acapulco Restaurant parking lot (Glendale and Atwater) at 9am, we'll be done by 12pm. Email [email protected] for more info.

Come out and vote for your new board on April 12th, at Christ's Church (Edenhurst and Gardenside), from 10am to 4pm. Free tacos will be given out to the first 200 voters. Glendale/Hyperion Bridge Improvement Project
The Government Relations Committee is asking that everyone submit their feedback on the options presented for the Hyperion Bridge.
