Carlisle Optimists All-You-Can-Eat Community Breakfast

Maple Syrup Festival at Westfield Heritage Village

Bring your family and friends for some springtime fun at the Maple Syrup Festival. Learn how maple syrup was made in the early and mid-19
th century and then enjoy a short walk into the woods to Westfield’s sugar shack. There you can try a taste of Westfield’s very own maple syrup, made in a modern evaporator. Other fun activities include wagon rides drawn by a beautiful antique tractor, interactive games and unique photo opportunities. Local maple syrup and a wide variety of maple products are available in the Gift Shop. 100+ Women Who Care Flamborough/Waterdown Program Meeting

Please join Councillor Partridge at the next meeting of the Flamborough-Waterdown Chapter of 100 Women Who Care program. The program intends to bring together 100 (or more) women in Flamborough-Waterdown who care about local community causes and who are committed to community service. At the meetings, women will meet for an hour and jointly select a local charity or not-for-profit organization. Everyone will each write a $100 cheque to the selected organization and watch how the group’s commitment turns into a $10,000+ donation. Do that four times a year and witness how $40,000 can improve the lives of our neighbours when placed in the hands of deserving grass-roots agencies working to serve the local community.
