Odette salutes the Labor Movement
On Labor Day we commemorated the Labor Movement, without which we would not have important workers' rights like the weekend, 8 hour work day, improvements in safe work places, paid leave, and in Maryland- the $15 minimum wage. We have much to celebrate, and a lot more work to do. To my sisters, friends and colleagues in the Labor movement, I salute you and thank you. Let's keep it moving and I'm with you.
