CCD Awards Applications


The CCD awards applications are now open, and we encourage all members to consider applying. These awards recognize outstanding contributions to the field and are an excellent opportunity to highlight the incredible work being done across our community. Remember, the application deadline is Oct. 15, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this prestigious recognition.

 

Outstanding Professional in Counseling and Career Development

The Outstanding Professional in Counseling and Career Development Award recognizes a CCD member who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership in the field of counseling and career development.  Apply Here


Rising Star in Counseling & Career Development

This award honors new counselors or career development professionals at the secondary or post-secondary level who have recently entered the profession (with no more than three years of experience at the time of nomination). It celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to CTE and the counseling field, showcasing innovation and dedication early in their careers. Self-nominations are welcome. Apply Here


Friends of Counseling and Career Development 

This award honors business, industry, or community partners who have significantly contributed to the counseling and career development of CTE programs, supported CTE programs, and/or students. Self-nominations are welcome. Apply Here


Innovative Program in Counseling and Career Development

This award honors individuals or teams who have developed innovative counseling and career development programs that significantly contribute to student achievement and support. Examples include initiatives focused on closing equity gaps, supporting non-traditional populations, and mindfulness and mental health initiatives, this is not an all encompassing list.  Apply Here

CCD Business Meeting Registration


The CCD business meeting will be held on Nov. 7 at 1:00 p.m. CT.

ACTE business meetings are open to all attendees; however, only members of the division are eligible to vote during the business meeting.

 

One week prior to the division business meeting, ACTE will verify membership status. If you are not a division member or if your registration occurs after the one week deadline, you will be assigned to a Zoom Breakout Room during the voting process. Click for Business Meeting Agenda

WBL 2025 Call for Presentations


Share your work-based learning expertise and model programs at ACTE’s Work-based Learning Conference 2025, happening April 2–4 at the Hyatt Bellevue on Seattle’s eastside in Bellevue, Washington. This event is focused on supporting the delivery of quality experiences that foster in-depth, firsthand engagement with the skills required in a given career field. Student Video Challenge: What is Artemis?


ACTE and NASA HUNCH are excited to host the 2024–25 student video challenge. This year’s theme: “What is Artemis?” This annual video contest offers students the opportunity to showcase the application of CTE and project-based learning programs in high-demand career fields on Earth and in space. The contest is open to students of all ages, including elementary, middle school, high school and postsecondary students and any student who is homeschooled. Submit a two-minute video by April 1.
