2019-2020 Course Registration

Honors/AP Interest Forms
From Monday, February 25 through Friday, March 1 , all students  will be completing an Honors / AP Interest Form in their Math, Science, Social Science, English, Foreign Language, and Visual Art classes. These forms are located on the respective teacher's CANVAS page.  Students will be asked to indicate whether or not they are interested in Honors or AP courses for the 2019-2020 year. After this step has been accomplished, teachers will indicate whether the student has been (a) approved for the course, (b) does not meet the prerequisite, or (c) needs to take a challenge test. Students will be emailed on Friday, March 8 to learn whether or not they need to take one or more challenge tests.
Challenge Testing
Many students will be asked to take a challenge test to enter into Honors and AP classes. Challenge Testing will take place from March 11 through March 14 from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and after school from   2:45 p.m to 4:00 p.m.

Monday, March 11 - Science Challenge Testing
Tuesday, March 12 - Math Challenge Testing
Wednesday, March 13 - Social Science and Foreign Language Challenge Testing
Thursday, March 14 - English Challenge Testing

Students that are required to take a challenge test must attend either the morning or afternoon session on the appropriate day in order to be considered for the requested course.  Failure to attend the required challenge test may result in the inability to take the requested course.
