Leaders Examine Economic Development Strategies
From the Port of Tacoma, to JBLM, to great school graduation rates, Tacoma is poised for increased economic development. But more needs to be done and Tacoma City Council’s Economic Development Committee has been looking at recent efforts to boost the local economy and plans for more in the future.
Tom Pierson, Tocoma-Pierce County Chamber's CEO, and Bruce Kendall, president and CEO of the Economic Development Board of Tacoma/Pierce County discussed their thoughts with the Committee.
