Counselor Minute

Many of you are getting ready for testing, spring break, scheduling for next school year, and waiting to see what shakes out of the 86th Legislative session. The unequivocal truth is that you are an amazing asset to your campus and that your work is unmeasurably important.
Speaking of which, I’d like to extend congratulations to our new 2019 ESC Region 12 Elementary School Counselor of the year; Allison Cornell of Bells Hill Elementary School in Waco ISD and to our 2019 ESC Region 12 Secondary School Counselor of the Year; Beverly Stephens of Bonham Middle School in Temple ISD. We congratulate these ladies and their hard work. Be looking for them as presenters at the upcoming 2019 ESC Region 12 Elementary and Secondary Best Practices Institutes. Thank you for all that you do in caring for your campuses. You are the heart of campus.
