Counselor Minute

It’s hard to believe that it’s already November and we are getting ready for the holiday break. I’ve enjoyed seeing many of you in person at the ESC or out in the field. There are many things that you are doing for your campuses that are making a huge impact, and the work you are doing is amazing. A break seems like it may be far away on some days, but it will definitely be here before we know it. Thank you for all that you do for your students, staff, campus, and district. You ARE the heart of campus!

Stellar Counselor

This month’s Stellar Counselor is Rebecca Maynard from Alta Vista Elementary in Waco ISD. Rebecca was nominated by a fellow co-worker who says, “Rebecca dies the announcements in the mornings with the kindest and most encouraging words that set the tone for the whole day. She knows the kids inside and out and has an amazing rapport with them. She’s non-stop up and down the halls all day every day and is a great person.” Congratulations to you, Rebecca Maynard! Keep up the great work!
