Hello Michiana Jewish Film Festival Fans!
Before the 10th Annual (and first virtual) Film Festival begins, we will continue counting down to the film festival with three more film favorites from the past 9 years!

Each film will have links to where you can view them online. Some are available for free, others have a small rental fee.
From 2013:
# 6. "Fill the Void" : (Drama) Winner of 7 Israeli Academy Awards and Venice's Film Festival's Best Actress Award. 
When the older sister of Shira, an 18-year-old Hasidic Israeli, dies suddenly in childbirth, Shira must decide if she can and should marry her widowed brother-in-law, which also generates tensions within her extended family.
From 2014:
# 5. "Closed Season": (Drama on Holocaust, recommended for mature audiences.) Set in 1942 and tells the story of Fritz and Emma who are hiding Albert, a Jewish refugee at their remote farm in the Black Forest.

# 4. "Zero Motivation": (Comedy, recommended for mature audiences) Winner of Best Narrative Film at the Tribeca Film Festival.
 A unit of female Israeli soldiers at a remote desert base bide their time as they count down the minutes until they can return to civilian life.
