The County, in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, is offering free legal services to eligible homeowners through the Heirs’ Property Family Wealth Protection Project. The program provides assistance with estate planning, wills, property deeds and title issues to help families protect their homes and preserve generational wealth. Applications are open through Sept. 15, or until available funding is exhausted.

PBC to Unveil Sign for Newly Named Rick Rothman Cross Country Course

PBC Parks and Recreation will unveil the new sign for the Rick Rothman Cross Country Course at Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park during the 44th Annual Spanish River Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 9 a.m. The dedication honors longtime coach Rick Rothman, who designed the course in 2004 and has spent decades shaping cross country in the county and beyond.
