This Edition: The Community Services Department has launched its Inaugural Housing Leadership Academy, a dynamic nine-month program designed to strengthen local leadership among professionals working to address housing and homelessness across the county. Beginning Aug. 1 and continuing through Aug. 10, the intersection of Northlake Boulevard and Beeline Highway will be closed for railroad construction. Join Mounts Botanical Garden for a full day of inspiration, education and memorable experiences during its Orchid Symposium on Saturday, Aug. 9.
