Walgreens Will Host a Free COVID-19 Vaccine Event

In an effort to keep our students and families safe and healthy, Walgreens will host a FREE COVID-19 vaccine event in conjunction with the Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at Bethune Elementary School, 220 Northside Dr. NW, located across the street from the Georgia World Congress Center. Vaccinations will be available to all APS students and family members 12 years and older. Those attending are asked to wear a face covering and loose clothing. To register, please click here.

HealthCheck

APS has released a helpful resource for parents while preparing for Back to School - a COVID-19 screening tool called HealthCheck. HealthCheck is available as a mobile app and website, and all schools will utilize HealthCheck to manage daily health screenings for students. In the coming days leading up to the first day of school, you may receive a user account and activation email from HealthCheck. Once you receive the email, please be sure to click the activation link, and register your account. Once activated, you will be able to access HealthCheck on any smartphone, tablet, or web browser to begin performing health checks immediately.

If you do not receive an activation email by Aug. 5, no worries! You can also self-register for HealthCheck by clicking here.

Additional health guidance can be found on the Student COVID-19 Screening webpage by clicking here.
