The Christmas Festival of Lights opens this Friday

The Grotto's Christmas Festival of Lights less than a week away. Opening Friday, Nov. 25, the annual event celebrates the true meaning of Christmas with music, lights and joy.

Known as the world's largest Christmas Choral Festival, more than 150 choirs will perform over the course of 35 nights in the Chapel of Mary, known for its cathedral-like acoustics. 

There are nightly puppet shows and caroling in the pavilion tent, and music all around the grounds. And don't forget the millions of lights!

Volunteers Needed for Festival

The Festival would not take place without our wonderful volunteers. We have both indoor and outdoor positions available. Most shifts last approximately three hours.

Daily Recitation of the Rosary

Daily recitation of the Rosary at The Grotto will take place everyday, one half hour before each Mass.

Oh, God the Father, You have sent your Son Jesus among us to bring us eternal life and save us from ourselves. Jesus came to teach me how to love myself and those around me, as well as my enemies. Give me the grace today to honor Jesus as my King. Jesus came to teach me how to change my heart and mind by His gift of compassion, forgiveness, mercy, and love by dying on the cross for my salvation. Allow me to pray from the depths of my heart the words of the good thief as You hung on the cross “Jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
