Hometown Parade: 65 Years of Excellence—Celebrating Milestones on the Road to Route 66

This Saturday, our float cruises down Route 66 in celebration of our Queen of the Rosary School's 65th Anniversary and our 5th year as Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish! The parade theme this year is Landmarks of America, and our float theme will be 65 Years of Excellence—Milestones on Route 66. Sign up here to march in the parade, and meet us at Tonne and Elk Grove Blvd at 1:30pm. All are invited and Fr. Dan and Fr. Paul can't wait to see you there!

Seminarian Education Fund

September 21/22 | All Masses

We'll take up a second collection to support training and education for priests of the Archdiocese of Chicago at all Masses this weekend. Donations in marked envelopes may be dropped in the offertory baskets as they come around, and there will be baskets at the exits for unmarked donations. Envelopes will also be available in church. Thank you for your generosity!

Women's Club Fall Bake Sale Fundraiser

Only one week to go and we need your sweet treats to help make our Women's Club Bake Sale a sweet success! So dust off your recipes and pull out the aprons, mixers and baking pans and help support our OLBS Women's Club at their Fall Bake Sale. Follow this link to signup to bring a treat online. The Bake Sale is the Women's Club only fundraiser and proceeds support initiatives throughout the parish such as gifts for teachers, help for the teen's Summer Mission Trip, parish-wide events like picnics and more!

As part of our Queen of the Rosary School's Veterans Day project, the upperclassmen are excited to honor and learn about the brave men and women of our parish and school community who served in any branch of the military. Choir Resumes

Come sing with us! Join the Kids Choir and make a joyful noise—open to all 2nd-8th graders! Rehearsals resume from 3-4pm on Wednesdays starting September 18th. Permission slips will be available soon and must be turned in to confirm your child's participation.

Ring in the fun—join our Handbell Choir and make beautiful music together! Rehearsals resume on Wednesdays at 7pm at QR beginning on September 18th. No prior experience required, but general ability to read sheet music is needed. We'll teach you the rest!

Fall Wine 'n Paint

Ladies, who's ready to join us for another round of Wine 'n Paint? Instructors will lead us in making two adorable wooden snow people with winter caps (caps will vary and may differ from pictures in signup/bulletin). These are perfect to use for holiday decor, to give a handmade gift to someone special, or maybe both!

Registration is $35 per person and includes all supplies, snacks and wine. Seating is limited, please signup by October 7th.

Annual Catholic Appeal: Together at the Table

Fr. Dan extends thanks to all who have contributed toward our Annual Catholic Appeal goal. Our anticipated rebate is now approximately $24,000 and we look forward to getting started on the bathroom updates when those funds become available.
