MACo's Bronze Corporate Partner, The Northeast Maglev, promises to bring safe, fast, and efficient travel to the Northeast Corridor with their high-speed trains.
Four local chambers of commerce representing about 1,500 businesses threw their support behind a proposed high-speed magnetic levitating train — saying the multi-billion dollar project will be "transformative" for Greater Baltimore because it will create thousands of jobs.
Leaders from the chambers of commerce for Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Prince George's County and Northern Anne Arundel all spoke about a need for better transportation options in the region to reduce traffic congestion and spur economic development. They join various building trade groups and the NAACP as supporters of the proposed rail project that could allow passengers to
travel between Baltimore and Washington in 15 minutes

The Northeast Maglev, the company behind the project, will partner with the chambers on community outreach efforts and opportunities for local businesses. Officials estimate the proposed maglev will create 74,000 jobs from construction and 1,500 permanent jobs after opening. Maglev is also estimated to add $6.5 billion to Maryland's economy during construction and $268 million annually after opening.
