Chamber ambassadors are very important to the administrative function of the Chamber and to the collaborative character required by our members. As an extension of the Chamber, the ambassador is the link between the two parties. Barbara’s eager participation and
friendly nature heighten the positive impact of all our efforts and goals.
The celebratory nature of the February luncheon was enriched by the attendees drumming on their tables in anticipation of the announcement of each winner. Excited applause and back-slapping echoed in the K-Oaks Clubhouse with each announcement.
New Chamber members Kristen Skelly from The Shape Shoppe and Aaron Darling from the Darling Art School both accepted their Chamber member plaques and briefly addressed the crowd.
The incoming Board of Directors and the currently serving Chamber Ambassadors were introduced to the attendees and were received with appreciative applause. There was an overall sense of pride shared by all of us who collaborate and contribute to bringing the awards ceremony to our public.
