Si View E-News April 2022

Whether you are brand new to Si View programs or have been with us for a while, we all have something in common this summer registration cycle: Si View's updated registration system and a refresh of the website! New features have been rolled out over the last few days and weeks, and by the time sign ups open on the 8th, we will be really ready to go. We recommend checking your account information prior to opening day. You will need your email address and password to log in. If it's been a while and you forgot your credentials, follow the onscreen prompts for a reset. Or if you haven't signed up for Si View programs in the past, create an account today, ahead of the busy summer registration season. And as always, if you have a question, please contact us, we're here to help.

Our local parks are in active use by the community this time of the year. From sports league activities, to programmed events and casual play, there is a lot going on each day of the week. It's a good idea to arrive a little early for any scheduled activities to allow ample time for parking, and please use caution near the parking areas. There is also a fair number of items left behind! Lost and found items are kept at Si View Community Center, please inquire by calling us at 425-831-1900.

See you at local parks!

Guide cover final.jpg

The most anticipated day of the season is almost here! The printed activity guides arrive in local mailboxes any day now. Registration for all summer camps opens Friday April 8th. You can register online, by calling 425-831-1900 or at the Si View Community Center. Summer camps fill up quickly, we encourage early registration to ensure best options. If the camp you are interested in is full, use the waitlist option, it is common for some camp spots to open up before the season begins.

Summer camp payments are due at the time of registration with few exceptions. The full day camps Mini Si, Little Si, Big Si, RAD and TRACs allow a weekly deposit payment option at the time of registration. The remaining balance is due one week prior to camp starting.

What about summer swim lessons? Yes, we'll have those too! Registration for swim lessons opens Thursday May 12th. You can choose from weeklong sessions or once/twice per week sessions.

New Camp RAD Scholarship Available

Camp RAD is one of our most popular summer programs, introducing 2-5th graders to exciting outdoor adventures. Thanks to grant funding support, we have a new financial need-based scholarship for camp RAD that can cover up to a full cost of a camp week. Camp RAD runs nine weeklong sessions starting June 27th, daily program hours are 9am-4pm with extended care included from 6:30am-6:30pm. This camp is based at Meadowbrook Farm Monday-Thursday and Torguson Park on Fridays. Mountain biking programs have arrived! The Tots & Parents Pump Track intro class for ages 3-5 filled up so quickly, we added another one (which also filled up). In May, we'll have a 4-week class for ages 5-7: Little Shredder Bike Skills to learn new tips and tricks on the pump track. For more in-depth instruction, Coach Robbie is starting new courses for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced riders this season. Skills assessment days are available to help select the most suitable course.

Whether you're an expert BMXer or just getting started in the mountain bike world, we'd love to have you join Si View and evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance teams for an stewardship evening at the pump track on April 5th. Let's get the track ready for the summer season and ride the fresh track! Sign up here.
