CCAO Opiate Epidemic Symposium: Strategies and Solutions
Registration deadline is April 18

As requested by our members, CCAO will be holding an Opiate Epidemic Symposium: Strategies and Solutions on May 2 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus. The objectives are to bring members together to share best practices, develop an educational baseline for common understanding and create a call to action. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Maureen O'Connor, Ohio Supreme Court chief justice, give their perspectives in the fight against the epidemic.

The symposium is being held in conjunction with the statewide Ohio's Opiate Conference: Advancing Prevention, Intervention, Treatment and Recovery on May 3 - hosted by the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities. CCAO members are welcome to register for both conferences at a discounted price.

As of today, the attendance from our members has been rather low. We encourage county commissioners, county executives, county council members and chief staff members to register by April 18. Several breakout sessions are already closed.

Registration fee :  $130 for May 2 or $230 for both days. Hotel rooms are not included in the price of registration. Conference registration deadline: April 18.  Please register ASAP. For more registration and program information, click here .
