Ask Rich: The Fair Labor Standards Act - exemptions and non-exemptions |
The U.S. Government amended a regulation to raise the Fair Labor Standards Act salary threshold last July with an additional salary increase Jan. 1, 2025. The July increase went into effect, but then, on Nov. 15, 2024, a Texas federal district court struck down the amended regulation nationwide.

Counties can apply for clean, safe community grants |
Team Kentucky is accepting grant applications for projects that support clean and safe communities.
Grant funds can help counties develop recycling and composting programs, offer educational programs or host household hazardous waste collection events.
Application deadline is April 1, 2025.
