Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Much of the media attention in many nations today is on a man called Donald, but take a break, refocus on that which is eternal, place the LORD first in your life, spending even more time with Him. If you wish, join me today looking at what Jesus said in Luke 14:
Luke 14:27-29, 33 AMP
Whoever does not carry his own cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow after Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me] cannot be My disciple.
For which one of you, when he wants to build a watchtower [for his guards], does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to finish it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is unable to finish [the building], all who see it will begin to ridicule him, ....
So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not [carefully consider the cost and then for My sake] give up all his own possessions.
Today we need to all ask ourselves - How far am I willing to go..??
What cost is to high to pay for the Lord..?
What distance is too far to travel for His Kingdom..?
If you knew you could help someone that is lost today, but can be saved, if you go...would you go..??
Or if someone that is hungry could be fed, and whose life could be saved to live another day, and become someone great in the world someday in the future, would you put in the effort to help that person?
But, as many of you know that there is just no way you can go to Africa, nor can you sleep on the floor, or go through those harsh conditions in Africa, and survive...I Want to tell you today, you can relax.!
Because - There are others that can do it, that are more than willing to sit on a bus in hot uncomfortable conditions for +23 hours with little sleep, to go where you can't go .. to reach those you can't reach...to bring hope, healing, food & deliverance to those you will never be able to speak to..
And all these pastors are asking for, is:
- Will you help me to do it ?
- Will you pray for me ?
- Will you stand with me in faith, fighting the spiritual warfare with me ?
- Will you Trust the Lord with me (and stand in agreement - as per Matt 18), so I can overcome every obstacle, and be able to reach those you can't reach, and help those you can't help...??
As each of these pastors would love to know you are there for them, and they would love it even more to meet you, even if it is just over a zoom call. Having a photo of you, knowing you are there, praying for them...when they suddenly hit a difficult situation, are persecuted, maybe even tortured, are in danger of life threatening situations...you will help...you will support them..?!
As King David made a statute in 1 Sam 30, in Israel, that those waiting with the provisions, receive the same blessing as those that went out to fight the war.
1 Samuel 30:23-25 AMP
David said, “You must not do so, my brothers, with what the Lord has given us. He has kept us safe and has handed over to us the band [of Amalekites] that came against us. And who will listen to you in regard to this matter? For as is the share of him who goes down into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the provisions and supplies; they shall share alike.”
So from that day forward he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day.
Meaning: When a pastor that went out, and saved a soul, you will receive the same joy and blessings they will receive, when you supported them to make that trip, standing with them in prayer.
If a pastor helps someone to be fed, you will receive the same reward from the Lord, when you helped them to help the poor and the hungry. (Matthew 25:34-40)
Because, with your support and your prayers, these pastors preaching repentance (Mark 6:12) have the wind under their wings - His Holy Spirit! and they have even more HOPE to reach the Lost at all cost..!!
They won't give up, but will keep pushing forward..!!
So, you and I have no excuse really before the Lord to make a difference anymore.
Together, we can do something, we can pray, we can encourage, and we can support through our finances..
Just think for a moment. NDR, in operation since 2011, has 4,400 wonderful people on its database in 49 nations. These youth, having found their calling through repentance are now wanting to feed their neighbors with physical as well as spiritual food.
