From the GM....
We are still looking for lifeguards!! If you, or someone you know, would like to make some extra money this summer, please have them contact Kris Johnson at 540.825.1746, ext. 224 or kjohnson@countryclubofculpeper.com for more information. Applicants must be 16 years old. Please pass this on to anyone you think would be interested. We will offer lifeguard training (fee is $250) through Powell Wellness in May for anyone interested. Contact Kris at kjohnson@countryclubofculpeper.com
Over the years, we have had many requests that we plan an event where people can get dressed up. In response, we are excited to be offering a Roaring 20's Dinner Dance on Saturday, March 26th. Cocktail reception, plated dinner and dancing. It doesn't mean you have to wear 1920s style attire but we encourage it. Definitely cocktail dresses, formal gowns, suits and black tie if you would like. Let's get gussied up and cut a rug!!
The flyer is at the top and down at the bottom. Registration will go through Constant Contact. If you will be bringing non member guests, please be sure to sign them up under guests. The total amount of the tickets will be added to your account.

Golf Course Trespassers
We have had a few incidences involving people/kids loitering or walking on the golf course. No one should be walking on the golf course during the day while golfers are out....members included. It is dangerous and we cannot ensure the safety of those who choose to ignore this rule. In addition, if you see someone loitering or walking, please call the golf shop and report it. For your own safety, please do not confront them yourselves. Our golf course personnel will handle this either by talking to the person(s) directly, or if necessary, calling the authorities to handle it.

LGA News!
Spring is right around the corner and so is our upcoming 2022 LGA Kickoff Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 22, 12pm at the Club House. We have over 30 members returning for another fun year of friendship and golf. At the meeting the agenda will include a short summary of 2021's activities and discussion of our plans for 2022. We will also review the list of members who have signed up for this year's committees and anyone else who has not signed up, but wants to pitch in, can do so at the meeting.
Returning for the 2nd year of their terms are LGA Board Members, Ann Lucas, Secretary, Priscilla Hilton, Treasurer, Julie Yowell, Vice President, and Lisa Rand, President. Ann DuFrane will also be returning as Captain of our Team, which will again combine with Fauquier Springs into FC United, due to both teams not having enough members to field the weekly matches.
Tuesday Ladies' Day will begin as usual on the first Tuesday in April, the 5th at 9:00am tee off. Please be sure to RSVP to the emails each week from the Ladies' Day Committee members who will be working hard all season to coordinate play for Tuesday mornings. Arriving 15 minutes early ensures we all get to start play on time at 9:00am.
