From the GM....

Wow! This year has flown by! Lots of good things to celebrate with improvements to the golf course, increases in membership not just in numbers but also the number of families that joined our Club! We didn't recover quite as strong as we would have liked in banquets but we were able to open back up for normal dining and events. Soon, we'll be mailing out the year end President's letter providing more details about the 2021 financial status.

As we always do, the restaurant/clubhouse will be closed January 1st - January 10th. We will reopen January 11th.

We sincerely thank you for all of your support and your membership. A special thank you from our staff for our holiday bonuses. We sincerely appreciate your generosity during this time of year and all year!

We wish you health and happiness this holiday season and beyond.

A recent landscape improvement was completed at the back of the Clubhouse with plants donated by Jon Falconer. The before and after shown. The planting and rock work were completed by the IGM staff. The plants and ground treatment were selected to be low maintenance. Using mulch in this area would have created challenges with it washing out and would have required the ongoing replenishments of material year after year.

Implementing improvements with the long term maintenance requirement and ongoing costs in mind is very important. The entire CCC team works to complete improvements that can be efficiently and effectively maintained so that those savings in time and materials can be focused in the areas that are most important to Members. Each individual improvement may not seem like much, but the sum of all of those efforts will help the Club and course continue on the path of improvement. Making good decisions with the resources available is our top priority.

LGA News!

Hoping everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and that you all were able to spend some time with friends and family this year. We know last year was tough for a lot of us at this time.

November/December is getting into the slower time for our ladies golf. Some are taking off the winter months, while some still try to go out when it gets to be over 50 degrees and the sun is shining. We also have a few ladies out in 40 degree weather braving the elements. If you need someone to play with this winter season, please let me know and I'll be able to find you a group to play with.

Remember, the LGA Christmas Party is today, December 9th! If you are late to RSVP and still wish to attend, please contact me for information or just show up!!
