From the GM....

We heard that January was going to be a rough weather month and so far that has proven to be true! Despite the snow, the staff has been busy cleaning and getting things spruced up for the new year. The new carpet in the banquet room looks terrific!

It's that time of year when we are looking for a few volunteers to run for the Board. We have 3 spots open. If you are interested in running for the Board, you must be a stockholder and obtain 10 signatures from stockholder members. I have attached the petition here. Friday, January 21st

Be sure to put the first member social on your calendar. The date is Friday, January 21st and we are featuring live music with Mo Safren. We will have a member social most months this year and we will either feature live music or some other fun activity.

Chili Cook-Off & Indoor Putt Putt Competition

Don't forget about the Chili Cook-Off and Putt Putt Tournament on January 23rd. We need your awesomely delicious chili!! The Putt Putt tournament is a ton of fun!

Members are urged to call golf shop to check on course and golf cart availability.

Winter Golf Cart Rules are as follows:

Use cart paths and rough and keep driving on fairways to a 90 degrees.

On par three holes a good winter rule is to tee your ball directly behind an existing divot so as to minimize the amount of lost turf

Driving Range

Mondays: Closed

Tuesday-Sunday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Shuttle carts for range must be back by 4:00pm

LGA News!

Happy Holidays to our LGA Members!

Earlier in December, we had a wonderful Christmas party hosted by Julie Yowell. This was a great event at Julie's house and the decorations were beautiful. Everyone brought a delicious contribution to our potluck dinner and the wine was covered by our LGA treasury funds. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend. We had a very good turnout of nearly 20 ladies!

Thanks to all for making 2021 a very successful LGA year that was filled with fun and friendship! Over the next month, the LGA Officers will be scheduling our Spring 2022 Kickoff meeting and determining the agenda. This meeting is usually around mid-March and we will meet at the Club House for the meeting and lunch. Hope you all will be able to attend.

On another note, if you're interested in playing some winter golf, please let Lisa Rand know and she'll gladly keep everyone in the loop who wants to play. We've had a pretty warm winter so far, and hope for more decent weather moving into January and February. (Fingers Crossed)
