5th Grade Parents - We Need Your Help With Yearbook Photos!
For students in Band or Orchestra: since we cannot take indoor group photos again this year, please send in a photo of your student with his/her instrument (either holding or playing). We will be laying it out like last year’s yearbook. You can send the photo to yearbook.countryside@gmail.com with your student’s name and Band/Orchestra in the subject line. Deadline is Monday, December 20.
**Friendly reminder about the baby photo! Thank you to everyone who has already submitted one. Please send in a clear photo of your child, ideally between the ages of 0-2. (We can zoom in on the face a bit, but it would be best if it is closer up and not a full-body shot.) Send it to yearbook.countryside@gmail.com, with your child’s name in the subject line. Deadline for the baby photo is Friday, December 10.
Holiday Gift Giving
Our classroom room coordinators will be handling holiday gifts for your teacher. If you haven't received an email yet from your room coordinator, please reach out to Angie Boylan (angie_boylan14@yahoo.com). In addition to classroom teachers and paras, we know specialists and support staff are also working hard. If you would like to contribute to a gift for one of these individuals, we have set up an option for families via Membership Toolkit.
Save the Date! Chipotle / Countryside Fundraiser is Tuesday, December 14th

Latest TikTok Challenge
In the latest, and always interesting, world of social media, a new TikTok challenge is spreading among students that encourages them to moan loudly in class. We haven't noticed it at Countryside, but the district has asked us to share this update since it has occurred at a couple other buildings. We're just giving you a heads-up on this in case it shows up here, and if it does, we will address it. For those of you who are unfamiliar with TikTok, it is a short form video-sharing app that allows users to create and share 15 second videos on any topic. Children under the age of 13 can only use the services of TikTok with the consent of a parent/guardian.
