New Admittees Welcomed to Bar at Swearing-In Ceremony with Los Angeles Superior Court Presiding Judge Kevin C. Brazile
LACBA was pleased to welcome several new admittees to the California Bar, along with their families, for a celebratory Swearing-In Ceremony at Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Downtown Los Angeles. As in the past, the Honorable Kevin C. Brazile presided over the ceremony and LACBA President Ronald F. Brot welcomed the new lawyers to the bar and wished them well in their careers.

Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic Continues to Support Counsel for Justice
We were fortunate to have Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic Conductor-Founder Gary Greene to present the organization's most recent donation of $6,387 to the LACBA Board of Trustees in November, totaling more than $40,000 in lifetime donations from the performance organization.

Dialogues on Freedom Program Seeks 2020 Volunteers
The Los Angeles County Bar Association's Dialogues on Freedom program, in coordination with the Constitutional Rights Foundation and The California Lawyer's Association Litigation Section, fosters conversation and debate in local high schools focused on the preservation of American liberties and values. Dialogues conducted in local high school classes are led by volunteer lawyers and judges.

Your participation on either or both days will provide students the opportunity to meet and interact with judges and lawyers, many for the first time, while engaging in lively discussions about their constitutional rights and protections. Training will be provided for new volunteers.
