October 2023 marks 20 years of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
Thomas Scott, executive director of CyberSC, reflected on the observance and current
landscape of cybersecurity in an article that was published in the recent County Focus magazine.
"As we celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness Month, it's clear that the challenges posed by cyber threats are ever-present. However, through a combination of education, collaboration, and technological innovation, your county can stand strong and resilient in the face of these challenges."

The National Association of Counties Cybersecurity Leadership Academy is a 12-week virtual course with the latest insights from industry experts and current chief information officers and chief information security officers in the field. It offers the the opportunity to network with cybersecurity professionals across the nation and coaches participants on what it means to think and act as a cybersecurity leader.
