County Event Update
Staff Note
Hello Butte County 4-H,

This special edition Cloverleaf provides you with an update about county events for the remainder of the year.

Remember that if you want to enter livestock at the Silver Dollar or Butte County Fairs that you are required to attend a minimum of one County Event in this program year.

The Butte County 4-H Council recently voted to permit monthly Council Meetings to count towards this requirement for the 2020-2021 Program Year only.

Foods Fiesta
There are TWO DAYS LEFT to submit a video for Foods Fiesta. Submissions are due by 11:59pm on February 26th.

Check out full details/register for this event on the Butte County 4-H website here.

The website includes detailed information on how Foods Fiesta Presentations are evaluated, so make sure to check it out!
Presentation Day
Results from Presentation Day are SO CLOSE to being ready. If you submitted a video for this event, you will receive your results via email, and your certificate via the U.S. Postal Service.

This event was the first virtual event that Butte County 4-H hosted and its virtual hurdles proved a great learning opportunity. These hurdles also delayed the ability to get everything completed quickly - thanks for your patience.
Fashion Revue
Fashion Revue 2021 is happening! This event will take place either virtually or in-person (pandemic conditions permitting) on April 10th, 2021.

Palermo 4-H is planning Fashion Revue and is excited to share more details as they are available!

If you win County Winner in your age group at this event, you are eligible to compete at the State Fashion Revue which will take place virtually later this spring.
Fun Night

With a heavy heart, the Butte County 4-H Council chose to cancel 4-H Fun Night this year due to pandemic social distancing restrictions.

For those new to 4-H, Fun Night is Butte County 4-H's largest fundraiser and largest event each year. It follows the form of a school carnival and is truly a great family-friendly event that all age groups enjoy. It's a bummer to cancel, but we'll see you all next year!
4-H Magic Show
A young 4-H alumnus from New Jersey who is a professional magician is offering county 4-H programs FREE virtual magic shows due to the pandemic.

Butte County 4-H will schedule a show for late April, and you won't want to miss it. Conrad is a very talented magician who converted all his shows the past year to be virtual, but still fun and interactive. More details to come!
Rainbow Craft Field Day
Below are the results from Rainbow Craft Field Day.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to Lone Pine 4-H's leadership for putting together a fantastic event.
