COVID-19 UPDATES
SD County Moves to the Red Tier
Thanks to your continued efforts, San Diego County moved into the Red Tier today. The Red Tier means modified indoor dining, indoor museums, indoor gym availability, and more. As more people get vaccinated, the number of cases should continue to decrease. Thank you for all you're doing to bring the numbers down in our community. More
Oceanside Vaccination Site Moved
San Diego County relocated the Oceanside vaccination location from Ocean Ranch to the San Diego County North Coastal Public Health Center at 1701 Mission Avenue near Barnes Street. The clinic can provide up to 700 vaccines/day, depending on supply, and is open Sunday-Thursday from 9-3:30. Appointments
In addition to the Oceanside site on Mission Avenue, Tri-City Medical Center is administering vaccinations. A San Marcos site is dedicated solely to vaccinating seniors; seniors can make an appointment there by calling 211. Some pharmacies and clinics are also receiving vaccines. Be patient and persistent when trying for appointments. See more: Consolidated vaccination site & appointment information
Vaccination Eligibility Expanded
The County extended the vaccination eligibility groups to include healthcare workers, those 65+, childcare and education employees, food and agriculture workers (including restaurant workers), emergency services workers, janitors, public transit workers, utility workers, and those with high-risk medical conditions and disabilities. These groups can now work on getting vaccination appointments. Details
