Today, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health extended the Safer at Home initiative with the gradual reopening of lower-risk businesses, select recreation facilities and beaches.
Effective today, all retailers that are not located in an indoor mall/shopping center are permitted to open for curbside pickup, door-side pickup, outside pickup or delivery only. Members of the public are not permitted to go inside. Manufacturing and logistic businesses that supply retailers may also reopen with physical distancing and infection control measures.
Beaches may also reopen, but group sports and activities - like picnicking and sunbathing - are not permitted. Finally, select recreational facilities - such as golf courses and tennis courts - may open with proper distancing and infection control measures.
