Alzheimer’s Association WI Chapter Encourages Americans to Make Brain Health a Priority as Part of Their Return to Normal.

The Jefferson County Highway Department will be resurfacing CTH “N” from Walton Drive to STH “106”. The work is scheduled to take place beginning the week of April 19, 2021. The existing deteriorated asphalt pavement will be pulverized, graded, and compacted prior to paving the roadway.
During construction, the roadway will be closed to through traffic, but access will be maintained to local residences and businesses, as well as emergency vehicles. A detour will be posted utilizing Business “12” (Main Street), STH “59”, CTH “D”, and STH “106”. The road will remain closed until approximately the middle of July, depending on the weather.

The event was held on April 17th in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Alyn Jones a veteran driver for Martin-Brower in Whitewater, WI was honored as 2020 Driver of the Year.

Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grant program
Applications for up to $420 million in new Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grants for small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic open at 8 a.m. today, Monday, May 24 and will be available through 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 7.
The Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grants program is a collaboration between the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and the Department of Revenue (DOR). The effort is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA). The grants will provide as many as 84,000 Wisconsin small businesses with annual gross revenue between $10,000 and $7 million with a flat award of $5,000.

Gov. Evers Announces $100 Million Investment in Economic Recovery

MADISON (4/13/21) — Gov. Tony Evers today announced a $100 million investment in Wisconsin’s economic recovery as part of the state’s funds received under President Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan Act. The investment aims to ensure businesses and communities across Wisconsin have additional support and resources to bounce back from the coronavirus pandemic. The announcement comes after the governor recently announced his plan for investing $2.5 billion in federal funding under the American Rescue Plan into the state’s economic recovery and well-being, $600 million of which will go toward supporting small business recovery across the state.
